Crown 2-1/2" - 18

This decorative 2-1/2" - 18 crown mould measures 2.500" wide by .688" thickness; The profile is comprised of an 11/16" radius cove in the center, attached to a 5/32" tall and wide notched fillet and a 9/32" tall vertical fillet at the top of the design, the lower portion of the moulding design consists of a 25/64" radius quarter round arc, creating an ovolo shape with a 1/4" wide horizontal fillet at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are set at forty-five degrees; search our bevels category by this degree to find a back-bevel cutter appropriate for this lovely pattern. These specific cuts set the installed height at 1-25/32" tall with a projection of 1-3/4" wide. Three high points in the detail were intentionally positioned on the same level plane; this design feature will assure excellent hold-down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is set parallel to the machine bed plates.
