Crown 2-1/2" - 3

This distinguished 2-1/2" - 3 crown mould measures 2.500" width by .750" thickness, allowing the pattern to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of four-quarter lumber on an industrial-style molder. The attractive terminating profile contains an 11/32" tall vertical line on the top left, connected to a 27/32" concave semicircle tangent to a 23/64" convex arc creating the cyma recta in the center. It merges with a two-tangent radius cyma reversal (ogee) with an 11/64" horizontal line on the bottom right side of the pattern. The set spring angles are at forty-five degrees; these dedicated back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, they also lock in the positioned height at 1-27/32" tall with a projection of 1-11/16" across the top.
