This engaging 3" - 29 crown mould measures 3.000" wide by .812" thickness. The profile comprises a quarter-round bead with an attached vertical fillet at the top. This portion is connected to a cavetto or cove in the center with a half-round bead and squared fillet at the bottom. When installed, the height becomes 2-3/8" tall with a projection of 1-53/64" wide with the spring angles fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees. Three high points in the design are positioned on the same level plane, holding down this pattern while milling a cinch; perhaps a felt-lined pressure shoe will eliminate any shine marks on the beads from the machine's pressure element.
