Crown 3-3/8" - 2

This 3-3/8" - 2 colonial crown mould 3-3/8" - 2 measures 3.375" wide by .687" thickness. The old-world profile is comprised of a two tangent radius cyma recta in the center, attached to a 21/64" tall vertical fillet on top. The lower portion consists of a 9/32" radius cove flanked by a small vertical fillet, joined to a 9/32" notched fillet at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees; search our bevels category by this degree to find back bevel cutters appropriate for this good-looking crown moulding, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-13/32" tall with a projection of 2-3/8" wide. Three high points in the detail were intentionally positioned on the same level plane; this custom design feature will assure excellent hold-down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is set parallel to the moulder bed plates.
