The old-world profile is comprised of a two tangent radius cyma recta in the center, attached to a 21/64" tall vertical fillet on top, the lower portion consists of a 9/32" radius cove flanked by a small vertical fillet, joined to a 9/32" notched fillet at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees, search our bevels category by this degree to find back bevel cutters appropriate for this good-looking crown moulding, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-13/32" tall with a projection of 2-3/8" wide. Three high points in the detail were intentionally positioned on the same level plane, this custom design feature will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is set parallel to the moulder bed plates.
We provide the cut steel size on all our moulding knife designs, this specialized feature allows you to be able to obtain the correct width size of knife steel before you start knife grinding procedures and moulding production.
