Crown 3-17/32" - 4

This attractive 3-17/32" - 4 crown mould measures 3.531" wide by .562" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of four-quarter lumber. The unique design is composed of a two tangent radius cyma recta in the middle, attached to a small vertical line segment and a 5/16" quarter circle at the top. The lower section consists of a 39/64" radius cove, flanked by a 13/64 vertical line and a 7/32" horizontal line at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees, these specific bevel cutters set the installed height and projection at an identical dimension of 2-1/2" tall and wide. The center of the design also happens to be the hold down point when milling, we recommend using a felt lined pressure shoe to eliminate any unsightly burnish mark that may be left on the pattern by the steel pressure element.
