This 3-19/32" crown mould measures 3.593" wide by .812" thickness; the profile comprises a quarter-round bead at the top with a vertical fillet attached to a cavetto with a three-quarter round bead at the bottom of the pattern. When installed, the height is 2-1/2", the projection is 2-37/64", and the fixed spring angles are at 45 degrees. Two points of the design are positioned on the same plane for optimal hold-down during milling. This design could also be used as a bed mould, as the top of the profile would flow into the next element, such as in a stacked cornice buildup.
