This Cyma Recta Crown Moulding 4" – 4 measures 4.000" wide by .750" thickness with a depth of cut of .375" on the right vertical back bevel cutters, .443" on the left vertical blades, and a .437" depth of cut on the top horizontal set of moulding knives.
The architectural profile is comprised of a 1-1/8" radius arc tangent off of a 1-1/16" radius concave cove creating a cyma recta in the center of the detail, attached to a 9/16" tall vertical fillet on top, and a 33/64" tall by 29/64" wide stepped fillet at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degree, search our bevels category by this degree to find a set of back bevel cutters appropriate for this creative crown/cove moulding design, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-7/8" tall with a projection of 2-25/32 wide. Two of the high points in the detail were deliberately positioned on the same level plane, our standard design feature will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the moulder pressure shoe is properly set parallel to the moulder bed plates.
