This 4-1/2" symmetrical crown mould measures 4.507" width by .813" thickness, requiring a 4-3/4" blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial moulder. The lovely terminating profile retains a 2-5/8" concave semicircle in the center. The upper left and lower right consist of a 13/32" flat line joined to a set of 25/64" perpendicular lines. Four knife designs are included in the downloadable dxf file: the one you're viewing and a gable end design installed on a 3"/12" pitched roof. The profile changes to compensate for the rake angle of the roof.
