This lavish 4-3/4" - 3 crown mould measures 4.773" wide by .937" thickness, allowing the pattern to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of five quarter lumber. The sumptuous terminating profile is composed of a 1/4" tall vertical line segment on the top left, attached to a 1-5/8" radius cove with a 1/8" wide by 1/8" tall perpendicular notch and a two tangent radius cyma recta in the center, merged with a 1/8" vertical drop in elevation with a 3/4" radius cavetto and a 3/16" broad flat area on the bottom right side of the design. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees, these explicit back bevels keep the inner profile parallel to the wall and ceiling; they also set the installed height at 3-3/8" tall with a projection of 3-5/16" wide.
