This multi-step 5-1/4" - 26 crown mould measures 5.250" in width by 1.250" in thickness, requiring 5-1/2" wide blanks of six-quarter lumber for machining sprung (laying horizontally flat on a commercial moulder. The southwestern-style terminating profile retains a series of different-sized perpendicular stepped area's in the upper section. The lower portion has a larger area for inserting rope or dentil moulding, and small steps on the bottom right corner of the design. The fixed spring angles are at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, in addition to locking in the height at 4-3/32" tall with a 3-9/32" projection across the top.

In most of our crown, cove, and bed mould designs, we utilize a full 2.375"/60mm cutter head for the back bevel angles to allow for multiple axial adjustments on a wide range of patterns.
