This Crown/Cove Moulding 5-5/8" - 6 measures 5.625" wide by .750" thickness with a depth of cut of .268" on the right vertical blades, .475" on the left vertical cutters, and a .504" depth of cut on the top horizontal set of moulding knives.
The notched cove profile is comprised of a 4-3/8" radius cove in the center, attached to a 1/2" tall by 13/32" wide notched fillet joined to a 11/16" tall vertical fillet in the upper portion of the pattern, the lower section consists of a 11/64" wide by 7/32"tall notched fillet, with a 1/2" wide horizontal line at the bottom of the detail. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degree, search our bevels category by these degree to find two sets of back bevel cutters appropriate for this stylish crown/cove moulding design, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 4-7/16" tall with a projection of 3-7/16" wide. Four high points in the detail were intentionally positioned on the same level plane, this specialized design feature will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the moulder pressure shoe is set parallel to the moulder bed plates.
