Crown 6" - 38

This creative 6" - 38 crown mould measures 6.000" wide by .812" thickness, the profile was designed initially to inset a piece of dentil or rope moulding, or maybe some emerald green marble squares would add to the exquisite look of this pattern. The detail comprises a cyma recta in the upper portion flanked by two vertical fillets connected to a cove and a 3/4" tall by 17/32" wide notched fillet. The lower portion has a small cyma reversa or ogee flanked by two horizontal fillets. When installed, the height becomes 4-11/16" tall with a projection of 3-3/4" wide with the spring angles set at thirty- eight and fifty-two degrees. Four points in the design are intentionally positioned on the same level plane, creating excellent hold-down conditions during the milling process.
