Crown 6-11/16" - 2

This graceful 6-11/16" - 2 crown mould measures 6.687" wide by 1.000" thickness, requiring five-quarter lumber to mill the pattern. The profile comprises a cyma recta positioned in the middle with a connected ovolo on the top and a small cavetto flanked by vertical and horizontal fillets at the bottom of the design. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degree which determines the installed height and projection, on this pattern the height is 4-1/2" tall with a projection of 4-15/16" wide. There are three points in the design that are positioned on the same level plane, which will create superior hold-down conditions while milling the profile on an industrial molder. We strongly recommend using a felt-lined pressure shoe to eliminate any unsightly burnish mark left on the protruding portion of the cyma recta, which would affect the looks of the finished milled pattern when a stain, paint, or varnish is applied.
