Crown Moulding 7-1/32" - 3

This Classic Crown Moulding 7-1/32" - 3 measures 7.031" wide by 13/16" thickness enabling the pattern to be milled from four quarter lumber,the timeless design consist of the standard cyma recta flanked by vertical fillets with an attached cavetto and horizontal fillet positioned at the bottom. With the spring angles fixed at forty-two and forty-eight degrees the installed height becomes 5-1/4" tall with a projection of 4-11/16" wide. These spring angles were intentionally utilized to enable two points of the design to be positioned on the same level plane thus creating optimal hold down conditions while milling the pattern on an industrial style moulder. The high point of the cyma recta is purposely positioned below the level plane of the points by .015" to eliminate any unsightly burnish mark that may be caused by the moulder pressure shoe element while holding down the profile during machining.
