Crown 8" - 3

This distinctive 8" - 3 crown mould measures 8.000" wide by 1.093" thickness. The large profile comprises a 5-23/32" radius cove in the center, attached to a 1/2" tall vertical line on top, the lower portion consists of a 1/2" tall by 7/16" wide notch, joined to a 1-1/4" tall by 1/4" wide notch, with yet another 1/4" tall by 1/4" wide rabbet, with a 9/16" broad segment at the bottom of the pattern. The fixed spring angles are 25° and 65°; the template designs are in the downloadable DXF file. These specific back bevels set the installed height to 7-1/16" and the projection to 3-49/64". Two high points in the detail are deliberately positioned on the same level plane. Our specific design features will assure excellent hold-down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is set parallel to the bed plates. Our precise CAD drawings include detailed information to assist you with the setup and milling of this profile. Our acrylic templates also provide sufficient blend areas on the knives, so you will never realize where one cutter begins or ends. This practice will substantially increase lumber yield during milling.
