This distinguished 8-1/4" - 5 crown mould measures 8.220" width by 1.312" thickness, requiring an 8-1/2" wide blank of six-quarter lumber for machining sprung (laying horizontally flat on an industrial moulder. The symmetrical terminating pattern comprises a 4-5/8" concave semicircular arc in the center. A thirty-degree angled line flanks it joined to a graceful ogee with a 23/64" flat line in the upper left and lower right corner of the pattern. The spring angles are at forty-five degrees; the dedicated back bevels keep the face sides of the pattern parallel to the wall and ceiling. These specific angle positions lock in the installed height at 5-13/16" tall with a 5-13/16" projection across the top. We offer a smaller matching pattern at 4-3/8" for your review and consideration, crown 4.375" - 22.
