Dentil 1-3/4"

This decorative dentil 1-3/4" measures 1.750" wide by .750" thickness. The profile is composed of a 1/2" wide by 1/4" deep rabbet on one side, connected to a 3/4" wide raised fillet in the middle, attached to a small ogee on the thin side of the design. The top area usually receives a cross-cut dado on a table saw or CNC machine every 3/4" wide by 1/4" deep, which happens to be the same depth as the rabbet; this is so you don't expose a gap when the crown moulding is seated in the rabbet when installed.
