This luxurious dentil moulding 2-1/2" measures 2.500" wide by 1.000" thickness requiring five quarter lumber to properly mill this design. The profile consist of a 1/2" wide by 1/4" deep rabbet on one side of the pattern, attached to a 1" wide raised fillet, joined to a two step line that transitions into a cyma reversa on the thin side.
Dentil mouldings are labor intensive to manufacture, this detail requires the crosscuts be positioned 1" apart to create a 1" square block in the pattern.
