This 1-1/2" t-shaped door stop measures 1.500" wide by .750" thickness with a .125" depth of cut for the top horizontal cutter head. The symmetrical profile comprises a 3/8" wide by 1/8" deep rabbet on each side of the bottom edge. This type of tee stop moulding is placed in a pre-milled dado on the door jamb, giving it more structural integrity than an applied type of doorstop; t-stops are often used on thicker door styles like 1-3/4" or larger sizes. They are more labor-intensive to manufacture, thus raising production costs and the overall price of a finished door. We offer many exceptional grades of quality high-speed steel and carbide for producing all these profile knife designs.
