Door Jamb 4-1/2" - 1

This 4-1/2" - 1 exterior door jamb measures 4.500" wide by 1.250" thickness. The profile consists of three 3/32" radius edges on the face of the jamb with a 2-3/32" wide by 1/2" deep rabbet on one side of the pattern for the door to fit into. Because of the depth of cut, the groove for the weatherstrip to fit into is milled with either a universal spindle during the machining process or a table saw with a 1/8" wide saw blade after manufacturing, increasing labor cost.
