This 1-11/16" full-round pattern measures 1.687" wide by 1.687" thick. The typical profile features a 27/32" radius full-circle split across four milling stations to reduce the depth of cut on each set of blades, while simultaneously allowing the knives to be sharpened correctly without ninety-degree angles. The pattern is cut into four equal quarters, with sufficient blend areas built into the profile design that will not be noticeable during the machining process. This will also allow the machine's bedplates, pressure shoe elements, and chip breakers to be closed to a tighter cutting circle tolerance, producing a superior finished product. The recommended rough wood rip size using eight-quarter lumber is 1-11/16" wide.
