1/4" Half Round

This 1/4" half-round measures .250" wide by .125" thickness. The design is comprised of three 1/4" wide half-round circles divided by two 5/32" wide splitters. As with every split lumber operation, we recommend installing an anti-kickback device on the machinery before attempting to mill any of our multiple profiles. Utilize fall-off rips of lumber while tripling production in a third of the amount of time with this design.

This pattern is not intended for milling a bullnose detail because it has no blend area in the knife design; these are milled from the top horizontal cutter head; search our bullnose .250" for nosings that mill from the right and left vertical cutterheads, all these designs have blend areas built into the cutters. Caution; the knives will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling these profiles; we suggest a sacrificial bed plate be used for this type of milling operation.
