This oval 2-1/4" - 48 handrail measures 2.250" width by 1.250" thickness, enabling a 2-1/2" wide blank of six-quarter lumber for machining on an industrial-grade molder. The sleek profile contains a 1-9/16" radius convex arc on top. The side consists of a 19/32" convex semicircle tangent to the top 1-9/16" arc. The bottom retains a one-inch wide by 5/16" deep dado for balusters or mounting hardware.
