This 2-1/4" - 52 ellipse-shaped handrail comprises a series of three tangent radiuses on the top and two on the sides, creating a comfortable grasping area when ascending or descending a flight of stairs. It has a decorative set of small perpendicular lines in the center on the sides joined to a 3/4" tall fillet with 3/64" eased edges on the design's lower bottom corners. The dado for mounting hardware measures 7/8" in width by 3/8" in depth. The attractive profile measures 2.250" wide by 2.418" tall. The recommended rough wood rip size using ten-quarter lumber is 2.687" wide.
