This well-designed 2-5/16" - 1 handrail measures 2.312" wide by 2.250" thickness, permitting the detail to be milled out of glued-up pieces of four or five-quarter lumber. The unique profile is composed of 1-1/2" radius semicircular arc on the top center, flanked by two 3/8" convex arcs on the right & left sides that join to two 11/32" concave semicircles that create the gripping area in the center, attached to a 43/64" tall fillet with rolled edges in the lower section, the bottom dado dimension is 1-1/2" wide by 1/4" deep.
