This intriguing 2-5/16" - 6 handrail measures 2.312" width by 2.312" thickness, necessitating glued-up pieces of four, five, or six-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial-grade molder. The elegant profile contains a bidirectional 16.698-degree angled line with a 3/8" rounded point on the middle top. The symmetrical side consists of a 3/8" convex arc tangent to an 11/32" radius concave semicircle forming the finger grip area in the center, merged with a 1/8" tall vertical fillet with a 9/16" half circle on the lower sides. The bottom retains a 1-1/4" wide by 1/4" deep dado for baluster or balustrade leaving a 17/32" flat section on each side edge.
