This beautiful 2-3/8" - 14 handrail measures 2.375" width by 2.156" tall, requiring the use of glued-up pieces of five, six, or eight-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial-grade molder. The exquisite symmetrical profile contains a 1-11/16" radius convex arc on top; the sides have a 13/16" convex arc tangent to an 11/32" concave semicircle forming the finger grip area. The detail flares outward from that point with two convex semicircular arcs. The bottom of the design maintains a 1-1/4" wide by 3/8" deep dado for balusters.
