Handrail 2-3/8" - 3

This fashionable 2-3/8" - 3 handrail measures 2.375" width by 2.312" tall, necessitating the use of glued-up pieces of five, six, or eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The elegant profile contains a 1-27/64" convex semicircular arc on top. The graceful symmetrical sides retain a two-tangent radius s-shaped curvature, creating a comfortable finger grip. The bowed inward area joins an 11/64" vertical fillet with a 35/64" half circle on the lower sides. The bottom of the design maintains a 1-1/2" wide by 1/4" deep dado for balusters.
