This modest 2-3/8" - 8 handrail measures 2.375" width by 2.625" thickness, necessitating the use of glued-up pieces of five, six, or eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial-grade molder. The unpretentious profile contains a 15/16" flat line with two 23/32" round corners on the top. The sides retain a 3/8" tall vertical line transitioning into a 29/32" high by 17/64" deep concave semicircular arc with 1/8" rolled edges creating a comfortable finger grip area, the lower portion retains a 9/16" vertical line with an additional 1/8" eased edge on the bottom corners of the design. An optional dado is available for installing balusters.
