Handrail 2-1/2" - 16
This compelling 2-1/2" - 16 handrail measures 2.500" wide by 2.625" thickness. The attractive profile retains some colonial overtones, it is composed of a 2-11/32" radius arc on top, connected to a two tangent radius elliptical shaped arc on the sides, joined to a 3/16" wide decorative bead that transitions into a 9/32" radius scotia flanked by small lines segments, this creates a firm and comfortable gripping area. The lower portion of the design consists of a protruding elliptical-shaped bead with a 15/64" vertical line segment with 3/64" eased edges. The bottom measures two inches wide; a dado for baluster could easily be milled.
