Handrail 2-1/2" - 19
This keyhole-shaped 2-1/2" - 19 handrail measures 2.500" wide by 2.562" tall. The rough lumber blanks will most likely be assembled and glued up from four or five-quarter lumber. The upper portion of the design consists of a 1-1/4" tall rectangular shaped top with 1/2" radius edges, connected to a 9/32" concave semicircular that creates the finger grip area for climbing and descending a flight of stairs, the lower portion of the design tapers outward to a width dimension of 1-31/32" leaving plenty of room for milling a dado for inserting balusters.
