Handrail 2-1/2" - 4
This elegant 2-1/2" - 4 handrail measures 2.500" width by 2.875" thickness, necessitating glued-up pieces of four, five, and six-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial molder. The fancy detail contains a two tangent radius bulb-shaped top; the sides retain a graceful 17/32" concave semicircle, creating the finger grip in the center. The lower section flares outward to full-width, then merges with a decorative raised fillet with perpendicular lines and two 3/64" eased corners. The bottom has a 1-3/4" across by 1/4" deep dado for balusters.
