This handrail measures 2-1/2" wide by 1-1/8" thickness. The best way to describe the shape of the profile is it resembles a flat loaf of bread. The top of the rail has a smooth radius arc with the sides being a combination of two tangent radiuses that curve inward leaving a decent area for gripping when utilizing the railing, The bottom of the pattern has a 2-1/4" wide flat surface for installation purposes.
