This 2-5/8" - 15 colonial handrail measures 2.625" wide by 2" tall. The attractive profile is comprised of a centered 1/2" radius semicircle flanked by two 11.088 degree angles on top with 1/8" round overs on the sides, connected to a 3/4" tall vertical line with a 1/8" radius that joins to a 3/4" cove which creates the finger grip area, attached to a decorative 27/64" tall half circle with a 11/64" tall vertical line in the lower portion of the design, the bottom dimension is 1-5/8" wide, this area could be utilized for an optional dado if needed for the balusters or mounting hardware.
