This modern 2-5/8" - 36 handrail measures 2.625" wide by 2.125" thickness, requiring a 2-7/8" wide blank of ten-quarter lumber for machining on an industrial moulder. Due to the profile knife design, various widths of this pattern are obtainable with an easy radial adjustable of the left cutter head. The contemporary symmetrical design comprises a flat top with 1/8" round corners. The sides contain a one-inch tall vertical fillet in the upper section. It connects to a 1/2" tall by 3/8" deep finger grip attached to a 5/8" high area with 1/8" eased edges at a 2-1/4" width dimension on the bottom.
