This bespoke 2-5/8" - 37 handrail measures 2.625" wide by 1.875" thickness, requiring a 2-7/8" wide blank of glued-up lumber for machining on an industrial moulder. The stylish custom profile comprises a 5-45/64" convex arc flanked by small 1/8" coves with 3/64" eased edges on top. The sides retain a ¼" tall flat connected to a ¾" tall congee derived from a 5/16" radius cove creating the finger grip area in the upper portion. The lower section retains a 1/8" horizontal fillet connected to a 5/8" tall line with 3/64" rolled corners. The bottom has a 1-9/32" wide by ¼" deep dado for balusters and mounting hardware.
