Handrail 2-3/4" - 10

This colonial 2-3/4" - 10 handrail measures 2.750" wide by 2.750" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined from glued-up pieces of four, five or six-quarter lumber. The traditional profile is composed of a bidirectional wave-like top consisting of a 1-5/8" radius arc in the center, tangent off of two 1-1/2" concave semicircles with 3/64" eased edges, the symmetrical sides are made up from a 3/4" tall half round bead flanked by small vertical lines, attached to a bidirectional congee that serves as a comfortable finger gripping area, the lower section has a smaller version of the upper portion of the design, the dado for the balusters measures 1-1/4" wide by 1/4" deep.
