This oval 2-3/4" - 18 handrail measures 2.750" wide by 1.750" thickness, enabling the pattern to be machined out of glued-up pieces of four or five-quarter lumber. The beautifully shaped profile is composed of a 2-1/2" radius semicircular arc on the top, tangent to two 21/32" convex arcs on the right & left sides, joined to two 3/8" concave semicircles that reduce the width on the bottom of the detail to 1-1/2" wide.
