This creatively elegant 2-3/4" - 30 handrail measures 2.750" wide by two inches tall, requiring glued-up pieces of four, five, six, or solid ten-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The beautiful symmetrical profile comprises a bidirectional three-tangent radius cyma reversa derived from a 13/16" radius arc tangent to two 5/8" concave semicircles on top. The sides consist of a 1/8" vertical fillet in the upper section, joined to a two tangent radius ear-shaped cyma reversa, leaving a 1-19/64" wide flat bottom.
