This attractive 2-3/4" - 47 handrail measures 2.750" wide by 2.062" tall, necessitating the use of glued-up pieces of four, five, six, or solid ten-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The symmetrical pear-shaped profile is comprised of a 3-1/2" radius semicircular arc on top, the sides consist of a 3/32" vertical fillet in the upper section, joined to a 5/8" radius arc tangent off of a 15/16" concave cove creating the free-flowing cyma reversa with a 3/64" eased edge, leaving a 1-19/64" width dimension at the bottom of the design.
