Handrail 2-7/8" - 3

This embellished 2-7/8" - 3 handrail measures 2.875" wide by 2.875" tall, permitting the detail to be machined out of glued-up pieces of four, five, or six-quarter lumber for milling. The stylish profile is composed of a colonial bulb-shaped top with a decorative half-round bead in the center, joined to a 1/16" wide sunk fillet that connects to a shallow two tangent radius ogee, attached to a 1/2" tall half-round circle flanked by two 1/16" line segments, the bottom dado for balusters measures 1-1/2" wide by 1/4" tall leaving a 7/16" wide fillet on the edges.
