This fancy 3" - 24 handrail measures 3.000" width by 2.375" thickness, necessitating the use of glued-up pieces of four, five, and six-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The stylish pattern contains a three-inch wide flat top with 1/2" rolled edges. The sides retain a 23/64" vertical line with a 1/8" eased edge that transitions into a 7/8" tall congee derived from a 17/32" concave semicircle, creating the finger grip area in the center. The lower portion holds a 3/8" tall decorative bead and a 3/8" tall vertical fillet with a 1/16" eased corner. The bottom plowed dimension for the balusters is 1-1/4" wide by 3/8" deep, leaving a 3/8" wide section on each side edge of the design.
