This creative ornate 3" - 26 handrail measures 3.000" width by 3.250" thickness, requiring the use of glued-up pieces of four, five, and six-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial molder. The intricate pattern contains a 21/64" semicircular arc flanked by two tangent 5/16" partial circles on top. The symmetrical sides retain a 5/16" quarter-bead; joined to a two tangent radius-shaped curvature that creates a sturdy and supportive finger grip area in the center. The lower section enthralls two half-circles divided by a sunk fillet and a small ogee with a 3/64" eased edge. The plow dimension for the balusters on the bottom is 1-1/4" wide by 1/4" deep, leaving a 9/32" width measurement on each side of the dado.
