This modest 3" - 34 handrail cap measures 3.000" width by two-inch thickness, requiring the use of a 3-1/4" wide blank of glued-up pieces of four and five-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial molder. The simplistic profile contains 3/4" wide flat line segment with 1-1/4" radius corners on the top. The bottom of the pattern consists of a 2-1/4" wide by 3/8" deep dado with a 1/8" rolled edge on both the right and left corners.
