This stylish 3-1/8" - 3 handrail measures 3.125" width by 3.250" tall, necessitating the use of glued-up pieces of five, six, or eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder; due to the knife layout, the width is adjustable to any desired size. The unique symmetrical insert pattern contains a 29/32" tall bullnose edge with a 3/16" vertical fillet in the upper portion. This line connects to a 9/16" high congee derived from a 1/4" cove that creates the center's finger grip area. The lower center of the design retains a 1/2" tall by 1/4" deep dado for inserting a rope molding decorative piece. Joined to a 1/4" tall fillet with an embellishing two tangent radius ogee with 3/64" eased edges on the bottom corners of the design.
