This modern 3-3/16" handrail measures 3.187" wide by 1.375" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined out of six-quarter lumber. The arched profile is composed of a 3-15/32" radius semicircular arc on the top, both sides consists of a 1/4" round-over on top and a 3/16" eased edge on the lower corners, the bottom retains a 1-3/8" wide by 1/4" deep dado for the balusters or balustrade. We offer a few other similar profiles in a 2-1/2" width for your review and consideration, handrail 2.500" - 21 and another detail in a slightly larger width, handrail 2.500" - 39".
