This broad 5-1/8" handrail measures 5.125" wide by 1.750" thick. This design will require eight-quarter lumber to properly mill this detail on an industrial-style molder. The profile is comprised of an 8.140" radius arched top. The symmetrical sides consist of a cyma recta that creates a nice finger grip area. The profile at the widest point each has a 1/16" radius to soften the edge.
