Corner 2-3/8"

This typical 2-3/8" radius corner measures 2.375" wide by 1.078" thickness. The common profile is composed of a 1-1/2" radius arc on a top tangent off of two 3/16" wide-angled lines, the sides consists of a 3/4" wide forty-five-degree beveled edge for a 5/8 thick baseboard to butt into, leaving a 1/8" set back on the two joined profiles during the installation process. The bottom retains a 3/4" radius concave semicircle with 3/16" wide tangent edges identical to the top keeping the thickness parallel to the top. This pattern will be machined from either five or six-quarter lumber. If you decide to try and mill this detail from five-quarter lumber, you will be forced to cut a very minimal amount of wood from the first bottom cutter head to eliminate any metal feed roller marks in the finished product.
