Corner 1/2" - 2

This 1/2" - 2 inside corner measures .500" wide by .375" thickness. The pattern is so small in width that we designed a splitter to utilize fall-off rips of lumber while doubling production in half the amount of time. The overall width will be 1-1/8" wide, which includes the splitter. The functional profile comprises a 3/16" wide flat line on the top tangent, an elevation-changing 9/32" radius arc, and 1/8" wide by 5/32" tall squared lines on the thin side of the pattern.

Caution: the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend using a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations. For safety reasons, we strongly recommend installing an anti-kickback device on the machinery before attempting any milling procedures that split lumber into multiple pieces.
