This compelling Victorian picture frame 3-3/4" - 7 measures 3.750" wide by 1.687" thick; the detail will require eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial-style molder. The beautifully attractive profile is composed of a combination of sunk fillets, half-rounded beads, and graceful arcs that are tangent to French-style curves. The rabbet dimension is 1/2" tall by 7/16" wide. Just imagine how lovely this frame will look when gesso is applied, and the gilding process is completed; it will always enhance the beautiful artwork it encases.
